We will meet at our meeting point to take our boat and leave for the Strait of Magellan on this Magdalena and Marta Islands navigation. The first visit will be Marta Island, where a colony of sea lions lives. After stopping on the boat for a moment and taking advantage of observing and taking pictures from the deck, we will head towards Magdalena Island, where we can disembark and walk along a marked path to the local lighthouse. Along the way we will be able to see very closely between 50,000 and 60,000 Magellanic penguins that occupy the place. After appreciating this particular landscape, we will return to our boat and return to the city of Punta Arenas, where our activity ends.

¿En qué periodo del año se realiza el tour?
El tour se realiza de septiembre a mayo.

¿A qué distancia se ven los pingüinos durante la visita al Parque Pingüino Rey?
Los pingüinos se ven desde los senderos del parque, a una distancia aproximada de 50 metros.

¿Por dónde se realiza el cruce del Estrecho de Magallanes para llegar a Tierra del Fuego?
El cruce hacia la isla de Tierra del Fuego podría realizarse por Tres Puentes, o bien por Punta Delgada. Dependiendo de lo anterior, cabe la posibilidad de que no se visite Porvenir y la duración del tour podría extenderse alrededor de tres horas. Independiente de la ruta, la tarifa del tour se mantiene siempre igual.

¿En qué tipo de embarcaciones se realizan las navegaciones?
El cruce Primera Angostura se realiza en embarcaciones con capacidad para 250 o 184 personas, dependiendo de la que esté disponible al momento del viaje. El cruce se realiza desde Tres Puentes.

¿Cómo puedo pagar la entrada al parque?
La entrada se paga el mismo día del tour, al momento del ingreso al parque, solo con tarjeta de crédito o débito.

¿Cuánto cuesta un almuerzo?
Durante el tour pasamos a un restaurant donde puedes comprar almuerzo. Hay opciones de acuerdo con el día de visita, que varían entre CLP$7.000 y CLP$12.000 por persona (en efectivo). También recomendamos llevar un snack desde Punta Arenas, ya que es un tour largo y no hay más lugares donde comprar comida.
